“Moon Rocks” Platter

Special effects are achieved in this platter by combining glasses that have chemical reactions and the inclusion of silver foil under the “rocks”. The rocks are pieces of glass known as frit.  The reaction effects can be seen at the interface of where the reactive glasses meet. The silver foil reacts by “fuming”, creating a yellowish cast.

Functional and decorative this glass platter is food safe.  Hand wash.
