“Squiggle” Art Glass Platter

Individual strips (96) are hand cut and then placed on edge to create this fascinating platter.  The combination of French Vanilla and Dense White glass strips creates a wonderful chemical reaction resulting in squiggles of gray between the two different glass strips.

After assembly of the strips, the piece is fired in the kiln, then the edges are cold worked and finally the piece is slumped in a ceramic mold.

Food safe; hand wash.
