Channel Library

“Channel Library”, designed by glass artist Candace Kahn, is made with various colors of glass stringer. Stringers are long thin 1mm pieces of glass. The various stringer colors were arranged on a piece of sheet glass and fired to a full fuse. Then this piece of glass is cut into strips that are arranged in a pattern, again fused, cold worked and finished with slumping into a mold.

This functional platter is food safe – hand wash.
